Totally exceeded expectationsOct 19, 2009 Totally exceeded expectations, enjoy the Angelina Ballerina series, much more than I thought I would, very nice, always about standing up for what is right and being a friend, story about working hard for something you believe in, also about believing in yourself, very good.
Perfect to Pair with the gift of Dance Lessons!Oct 02, 2009 (It is the perfect book to pair with the gift of dance lessons! My daughter finally understood that she was getting to take a class, just like Angelina!!)I bought this book for my daughter for her second birthday. She immediately wanted to read it and has requested it many times since her birthday. The story is cute and short enough for a bedtime read and to hold her attention, but enough of a story line to entertain mom, too. This is definitely a book that still has a few years of enjoyment as she grows up.
Angelina is a pretty mouse who just wants to be a ballerinaJun 15, 2008 Angelina is a pretty mouse who just wants to be a ballerina, and dances all the time - but she's so busy dancing she forgets about everyday things like cleaning her room or eating, and her parents don't know what to do with her. Their decision to bring her down to earth will change her life in this engaging classic story for ages 3 and older.
A lovely bookJan 02, 2008 I recently received this book at a baby shower, and I think it is such a sweet story. I have since then given my niece the same book for her to enjoy.
An inspiring tale Jul 06, 2007 My 2 year old daughter received this for her birthday this year and loves it! The story of Angelina, the little mouse who dreams of being a ballerina and keeps practising, to the exclusion of all else is something that strikes a chord in any one who has had a serious interest in something, be it dance, sports, etc. I would say that this book is not just for aspiring ballerinas, but for any child that is keen on pursuing an interest seriously. And I love the fact that towards the end, Angelina's parents take her passion for dancing seriously, and buy her a tu-tu & sign her up for classes...it gives hope to a child and that is absolutely priceless. A wonderful, inspiring tale of dreams that turn into reality. The illustrations are a delight too!
